I just bought the raven magc trick and wanted to know f their was any way i could do this trick with a t shirt. I know you can do it with a short sleeve button down but i wanna no how you can do it with a t shirt the way david blaine did it.

a short sleeve..hmm..well daivd blabe has been doing it for years he is crazy good not to mention he has a whole crew to set up stuff and take out delted scenes.I dont know of a way to do it without long or quarter length sleeves..sorry. Do you have the DVD? Maybe try some slight of hand with maneuvering your fingers around.I donno sorry :(

I have a dime that is the same on both sides, it is tails on both sides. Is it a trick magic coin, or is it worth alot of money?

It is a trick.

Did you get it from a store as change? If you did, those people are dumb! for not seeing it when someone gave it to you.

Check if it says legal tender though, if it does save it and it could be worth something later.

There is a double headed penny worth around 3million.

my PE teacher is really into magic tricks, and he did one today that really threw me, he put some quarters in an open container the side with the quarters, face down on the table, then the other half of the container under the table. he swirled his hand around (i know that part is pointless) the container on top, then knocked on the half on the desk…the coins where then under the table in the other half. he wasn’t wearing a jacket, i paid VERY close attention their is NO WAY he slipped them out.
it is the very first time a "magic trick" has baffled me so i would really appreciate it if some one can explain how that "trick" works. you can e-mail me if you dont want everyone to read it and know the secret.
squeaker12268@yahoo.com
please help me with this one, i am beyond words to describe how confused i am.
thank you to everyone who helps!

The container halves have flaps to capture and release the coins and the coins in the bottom cup are not necessarily those in the top. Depending on how good he is at handling them, they don’t even have to have that but it is easier (less manipulation) I’ll bet the cups make noise when they are clapped into place. You might ask him whether you can mark the top coins, say with magic marker.
A good manipulator can pull the coins from the top container and "palm" them, perhaps assisted by a hollow bottom that allows shaking to "prove" the coins are still in the cup. The palmed coins are deposited in the lower cup.
If you don’t know it already, a good manipulator can work directly in front of you with cards, coins, or cigarettes and move them from palm side to back side and you will never see them. Hand magic.

I do magic often and sometimes for events. I was recently asked if I would be able to entertain at a lawn/ garden party. I was wondering what kind of magic I should do for this event. Difficulty is not an issue, but the demonstrations can’t be too geared for stage performances, becasue this has to be fairly casual and impromptu. But, however, they can’t be too simple, like easy coin and card magic. They have to impress people, not prove I can go to Chapters and perform tricks from a $5.99 book. Any suggestions or ideas?

I can’t figure out this trick and I don’t want to spend $15 on a dvd

Please don’t insult the Magic Community by asking for exposure. Fifteen dollars is a very reasonable price for a magic DVD. I’ve spent $40 for a single trick DVD before.

Anyway, you need a coin and some glass. Take the coin, place it on the glass, and cover it with your hand. Slowly push the coin through the glass. Don’t forget that glass is technically liquid, so nobody ever thinks of this method.
