No Mattel never produced a magician Barbie doll or a magic kit featuring Barbie. They have a magician dress up game on their web site at: http://www.gamesbarbie.net/games/8667/Magician-Dressup.html

They also made a series of "magic water" coloring and activity books featuring Barbie in which you used water to "paint" in various books and the colors appeared.

Kind of a weird birthday present request, but I’m looking for a magic kit. I’m curious as to what store sell them? I’d prefer not to order it online, as shipping would take too long. Any ideas? Thanks!

Well at some bigger libraries, like umm Barnes&Noble they sell cheap magic kits, and it’s pretty famous so there should be one near you

hey guys i got adicted to magic now. i am trying buy m5 pk basic magic kit from ellusionist. it say it includes neo-m5. wat is that?

The m5 is basically just and amazingly powerful magnet that you wear in your sleeve. It is extremely useful and well worth the price. when it says "neo", its referring to the magnet the m5 is composed of, neodymium earth magnet(its incredibly strong).
However I would buy the m5 off of MagicProshop.com, its cheap there and with free shipping.

In the early 1970s, my dad bought a used toy magic kit at a flea market in NE Ohio. One of the tricks involved a set of gold and silver colored metal rings linked together. A gold ring would be at the top and a silver ring would be at the bottom, with several gold and silver rings in-between. The trick was to swap the top and bottom rings ‘magically’.

The secret was to grab the silver ring next to the top gold ring, It became the new top ring and the gold ring would appear to cascade down to the bottom. It wasn’t much of a trick, but I lost the one I had and I’ve always wanted to find another one. I remember it was part of a children’s magic set, and my guess would be mid-60s to early 70s vintage. I don’t remember the other tricks, but they were probably standard kid’s stuff. I’m mostly interested in the gold and silver chain trick.
