@magicated yes, they know magicians have vanished stuff for a long time, but the routine itself… that’s different.Oh, and uhm… my LePaul Spread is actually not that bad, but I doubt you’ve seen it,because I never uploaded any video. What you saw was probably one of my favorites. No,my grandma does not think I created it,probably because she has never used a computer in her life.Oh,and no,I don’t think credit for the Spread would be necessary, because that’s a single sleight, not a whole routine.

@JSLSampaio I have watched one of your video’s, I am impressed with the skill, and production quality. However I did see you did not give credit to Paul LePaul l for his spread. I don’t think credit is neede there for that type of thing but, following your logic you should. Did your grandmother think you created that?

@JSLSampaio Yes they do have video’s on youtube. this is not a live performance it is her in front of a camera.

@JSLSampaio No they don’t, they know magicians have been making things vanish since the beginning of time.like seeing some one cut a woman in half, do linking rings, find a card, etc. they know magicians have been doing these things for a long time. How would you make her think you painted it if you didn’t claim it? doesn’t hold water its like apples and oranges. Many artists have painted the last supper, just like many magicians have made coins vanish.

@magicated Oh, and my analogy does “hold water” (love this expression), because i didn’t say I would claim it was my own, I would make her (my grandma, remember?) think I painted it. When a layman sees a magician perform something, he thinks it was the magician creating it.

@magicated no, they did not. but they were not posting videos on youtube. in live performances, giving credit to some other magician is, like you so well said, “detrimental to the flow of a performance”. In videos, it is not. So, everyone should give credit to the illusion creator, in the description or the video credits. It’s all I’m saying.

@JSLSampaio the pendragon’s do not credit John Nevil Maskelyne during there performance of metamorphosis. Cellini did not credit Slydini during a performance of knotted silks. He did later during a lecture. there are endless number of examples. She is not claiming to have created this effect. So your analogy of claiming the Picasso does not hold water.

@magicated That’s just dumb. It’s not exposure,it’s recognition for the magician’s work.If we’re gonna perform other magician’s routines, the least we can do is let people know they created it.And it’s not “detrimental to the flow of a performance”, she could just write it in the description.About laypeople not caring…If i show my grandmother a Picasso painting in my house and make her think I painted it,the fact that she doesn’t care about painting doesn’t make it right, does it?

@slydini2 If you want to give credit it is really by Troy Hooser. ( Which Joshua Jay mentions) This is meant for a lay audience to showcase her talent. So no credit is necessary. It is only needed when educating the magic fraternity. I know you don’t give credit when performing for laypeople. Cause they don’t care, and they don’t know who the people the created the effects are any way. it is also detrimental to the flow of a performance. Giving the credit to laypeople is like exposure.

Wow, nice job, by the way, this work is not originally by Josh, the effect is from the creative mind of Troy Hooser and his name is “Squeeze Away – Plus Ditch”, the last wanish is and idea for my great friend Alain Nu and his partner Alan Greenberg

@blitzavi89 Mate, drop your attitude. Acting big online is pathetic.
Don’t tell me what to do either. It’s a comments page – I leave my interpretation of the video. I never said I could pull it off, and I don’t understand how you come off saying that?
Mate, you’re an absolute joke. Try spending time outdoors rather then attacking people with your keyboard?

@johno993 Stop exposing magic. If u r a student of magic, u r a bloody disgrace. Just admire the stuff she is duing. I bet u cant pull this off even if u put twice the effort as she did.

@PuckRG I agree to what u say. Very true. Yes eye contact is important. But just looking at the audience completely thru-out would not suffice was my argument
. And this video is anyways brilliant. I cannot match her in anyway in this routine at the moment. I give my kudos to her
