I’m now in my fourth year at Hogwarts and to levitate off the ground all you need is to eat a Sherbet Ball from Honeydukes; to levitate a coin and then turn it into a dollar you need to cast Wingardium Leviosa and then it is a simple matter of transfigurating the object; to make a candle burn underwater you just use the bluebell flames that Hermione is such an expert with.
