How about a musical instrument like a drum set, or an electric guitar, or a bass. ( I know this stuff is expensive I just ordered an electric guitar, an amp, amp cord, and a amp stand for like 390.99 but it is worth it.)

I am only familiar with the sea monkeys and the space crystal. The magic rocks make a pretty jar, but is very toxic. Sea monkeys are nothing more than brine shrimp. The look like tiny worms swimming around. Or like sperm under a microscope. They only “trick” they do is follow a light that you shine through the container. One interesting thing about them though is that if all the water evaporates and they die, you can fill the container with water again and in three days you have new sea monkeys. They have a survival mechanism that makes them lay eggs when they know there going to die and the eggs don’t activate until submerged.
My advice, get an ant farm

definitely Triops! I have both and sea monkeys are fun but Triops are just awesome!!!
They look way cooler and they get bigger. And when you get bored with them you just dry the eggs and wait until you want to play with them again.
