EFFECT:-

you let the spectator choose a number and then you make them do some calculations.Then you rub your previously empty arm to reveal blood written answer.

Stigmata method of forcing.

Let me force a number on you.

Choose a number. add 4. add 6. now subtract the answer with the first choice you made. divide your answer with two.

Your answer is….is.. 5!

I forced 5 on you.

How to force a number?

*First determine the number you want to force.

*Double it. If you want to force 4 then double it to 8.

*Choose two different ‘even’ numbers that add up to 8.   Example: 6 and 2

*Make the spectator add 6 and 2 to their choice. Now make them subtract the first     choice  from the answer. This leaves 8 as thier answer. Now make them divide by two and the answer is 4!

Let’s take:-

A: spectator’s choice

B and C those even numbers) 6 and 2

here is the equation:-

A +B +C -A /2 = forced number.

their number+ your numbers- their number divide by two= Forced number

Now, how do you do the red arm effect (stigmata effect)?

When the calculations are finished and he has reached your desired number, tell him to close his eyes and concentrate on the number so you mind read him. When his eyes are closed, you use your nail to scratch the answer on your arm(Hard scratch makes the number visible.Please avoid that)Now he opens his eyes and you rub your arm and the scratched place starts to become red until it starts looking like blood written answer. (sorry for blacks, this doesn’t work)

Black readers may write their prediction on a piece of paper. A great way is to use an ear cleansing stick which you dip in milk and then write your prediction on a paper. let the milk dry. now do the calculation game then hold the paper in front of a light bulb until the prediction becomes visible.

Note:-

You should keep the calculations oral . Reason is that they may take the paper home and learn the calculation trick. The other reason is that when they close their eyes, they may doubt that you peeked on their note pad.
