Lyric Opera prepares its final production in its ‘womb’
The Lyric Opera, which next season moves into the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, wanted a fitting swan song in the eighty-five-year-old Lyric Theatre. “The Marriage of Figaro,” which opens Saturday, is not going to be a standard-issue production.
