I buy them fresh from the produce section when I make my "Asian" soup, but when I go to use them, they are slimy and wilted. Does anyone know how you are suppose to store them once you get them home from the store?
I put them in the fridge when I get home and they are slimy after a day.
seems wierd but store them in cold water in the fridge and change the water every day. I worked in a restaurant for years and we never had a sprout go bad this way.

the only way is to store them in the fridge with a paper towel in water so that they still grow in the vegetable holder of the fridge if you have one of those. if not keep them fresh buy spreading them even over a paper towel keep light on them

I agree with warszawak… as we always wash them every day too but do not keep them in water — we just eat them too soon for any need for longer storage means. We also grow our own. It’s very easy and cheap, we just use a glass jar.
