I am not sure if I should trust Master Mentalism or not, because it looks somewhat fake. Does anyone know of a good magic book that enables me to do tricks spontaneously without having a gimmick set up? Thanks.

www.ellusionist.com is a great supply and training site that offers some great videos for beginners that do not require a lot of props.

I almost hate to admit it but the "Magic for Dummies" book is actually very good! Most of the other good magic books are harder to locate at bookstores.
